Alongside Sports Unlimited, Valencia Female FC is holding the first Female TryOut linked to the Club, open to young people aged between 16 and 23 wanting to get a scholarship so they can carry out their university studies and continue competing in the United States.
The event will take place on 27, 28 and 29 June at the Valencia FC Ciudad Deportiva. The training sessions will be divided into three days and will be attended by technical experts from American universities with the aim of selecting the best soccer profiles, offering them the opportunity to be awarded scholarships and be able to compete in the best university leagues in the world.
The TryOut presentation held in the Ciudad Deportiva Media Centre was attended by players Natalia Gaitán and Paula Nicart, with Pablo Mantilla, General Manager of the Valencia FC Foundation, also representing the Club, and Gerardo Piris, General Manager of Sports Unlimited. They all coincided in highlighting the opportunity to have this experience and the importance of a university education, in parallel to improvement and progression in the sport with a view to professional soccer.
