Sports scholarship in the US are from assessing a student athletes ability in that sport from in person evaluation, video evaluation and/or sporting achievements. The most common sports in the US are American Football, Basketball and Baseball, however there are 27+ sports (and growing) that you can get a sport scholarship in. Not all universities in the US can give 100% sport scholarships. Each division, school and/or sport has different funding for scholarships. A full scholarship as well as a partial scholarship is possible. A full scholarship is one where the respective student-athlete is 100% fully funded to attend that university/college. A 100% “Full” scholarship normally covers Tuition, Room & Board as well as a meal plan. Since some universities have different funding structures they might offer a partial scholarship. A “Partial” scholarship is one where only a portion of your tuition, room & board, or meal plan is funded. Sports Unlimited has experience with both achieving 100% full scholarships as well as partial scholarships, ranking from 30-90%.
