The first tryout set up by the Atlético de Madrid Foundation and company Sports Unlimited has been a great success.
This weekend, the first tryout was held at the Majadahonda Sports City facilities thanks to the agreement reached between the Atlético de Madrid Foundation and Sports Unlimited to offer scholarships that enable the youngest players to compete at the highest level in the United States without neglecting their studies.
The event was a resounding success. A large group of young people had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills to several American coaches who travelled to Madrid to make the selection.
The high standard of the soccer players who attended surprised every single one of the coaches and made their choice more than difficult. The young players came from Murcia, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Andalusia and Galicia.
All those selected will have the unique opportunity of succeeding in professional soccer without neglecting their studies.
